AI prompt engineering allows me to fully transpire and optimize my resume. I asked AI to rewrite my experience using professional / corporate “lingo” and industry-specific language. I prompted it to “enhance my resume with logistics-focused terminology and elaborate on actions needed for task completion” and on top of that made to “expand on responsibilities and measurable impact.” My end goal was for a finance hiring representative to get a full scope of who I am coming in as a postgrad student employee. The AI version added detail to my responsibilities and better explained how my work contributed to each position compared to my original one. What once seemed basic and lacked descriptions turned into statements that highlighted skills, achievements, and added strength and power to my experience. My knowledge can grow with prompt engineering allowing for quality of the output, especially the more it is trained. Being specific about tone, audience, and purpose leads to optimization. Tailoring content emphasis is what makes or breaks the hiring process. This experience helped me better understand how to present my skills. Considering projects like IS 101 personal websites, where I incorporated AI chatbot to enhance visitor performance.
